SARAH & RYAN | STONEBROOK MANOR wedding

Halloween inspired weddings tend to conjure up ideas of pumpkins, black, orange and purple hues and candy corn favors.  But when the bride and groom have a love for this October holiday and horror movies the concept can become something a little dramatic, captivating and more beautiful than one might assume for its spooky theme.

Sarah and Ryan wanted to be married outdoors in a lush garden surrounded by beautiful architecture.  So as to not detract from the venue's ambiance, the couple opted for minimal decor focusing their attention on personal touches, striking desserts and bountiful guest favors.

Something truly unique and special to this wedding was the bride's dress and veil that was handmade by the bride's grandmother.  The bride painted the tree "guest book" where guests would "leaf" their print and sign their names and a guest contributed by engraving the wooden ring box.

The wedding's primary color of lime green accentuated their unusual theme.  The color appeared in the bride's bouquet, the groom's accessories, the napkins, the centerpieces, their cutting cake and even the laces on the bridal party's sneakers.

The Halloween theme revealed itself on the cake table where a coffin shaped chalkboard promoted homemade cupcakes adorned with haunting eyeballs, bleeding headstones and bloody brains.  And guests didn't need to trick-or-treat when visiting the assorted candy bar.

In their final act for the night, the bride and groom sealed their commitment to one another by placing a padlock on the garden's gate.  This is one couple whose fate is sealed "until death do us part."
